All Cloud Technologies students will take prerequisite courses during their time at 黑料视频, typically during the听first semester.听Students must demonstrate competency through appropriate assessment or earning a grade of 鈥淐鈥 or better in at least one course from each of the following groupings:
Base English Courses (two required)
ENGL 093 - Introduction to College Writing (required)
ENGL 083 - Reading Strategies for College
ENGL 095 - Integrated Reading and Writing
Co-Requisite Reading or English Course (one required)
There is no expiration date for course credits that were earned in previous years from 黑料视频.
Transfer Credit for Prerequisite Courses
Prerequisite courses completed at colleges other than 黑料视频 will only be considered for general education selection points if transfer credit has been awarded and courses appear on the 黑料视频 transcript prior to the application deadline.
TR grades are not recognized by the online application. It is the applicant鈥檚 responsibility to ensure that transfer credit has been awarded and that TR grades are updated to transfer letter grades (TA, TB, TC) on their 黑料视频 transcript.
It is recommended that college transcripts be submitted to the Registrar鈥檚 office for evaluation and transfer credit at least 4 weeks prior to the program application deadline to ensure adequate time for processing.

Applying to 黑料视频 is Free & Easy
The 黑料视频 application is free and easy鈥攜ou don鈥檛 need a certain test score, GPA, or class rank to get started at 黑料视频. Applying takes about 10-15 minutes and can be completed entirely online.
No Application Deadlines
黑料视频 does not have a deadline for admission. Our 8-week class sessions start throughout the year鈥攊n January, March, June, August, and October鈥攁nd there is no hard deadline for applying for any of the start dates. It's important, though, to apply early enough that you'll be able to complete all the degree planning, financial aid, and registration activities that need to happen before your first day. Steps to Apply
(1) Apply to 黑料视频
If you鈥檝e never applied to 黑料视频 before (or if it鈥檚 been two years since you last attended classes here), your first step is to apply to 黑料视频. You can apply online or in person. To apply in person, reach out to your local admissions team听and arrange a meeting. Or, stop by any campus on any Tuesday for听Tuesdays@TheTech听to receive personal assistance with applying and registering for classes.
After you submit your application, you'll be asked to upload documentation鈥攕uch as SAT/ACT/PSAT scores or high school and college transcripts鈥攖hat can assess your readiness for college-level coursework and help us make sure you are taking classes that are the right fit for you. If you don't have your scores or transcripts at your fingertips, don鈥檛 worry. Go ahead and submit your application. You can go back to at any time until the end of the term for which you applied.
(3) Look for a Confirmation Email
Once your application is processed, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided on your application. Typically the email will arrive within 1-2 business days of submission, but during peak processing periods (April-June) could take up to 5-10 business days.
The email will contain instructions on how to register for classes, as well as important information regarding your 黑料视频 student portal (), tuition, payment options, and more.
(4) Create an Account in MyIvy
MyIvy is 黑料视频's online student portal. Students use MyIvy to check e-mail, register for classes, pay tuition, manage financial aid, get the latest news and announcements, and much more. MyIvy also contains "QuickLinks" to the 黑料视频 websites and online tools you will use most often. Learn more about MyIvy
Before you can register for classes you will need to submit documentation or complete an assessment test. Your test scores can help us determine the best English and math starting classes for you.听See the Test Score Course Placement Chart
If you submitted assessment documentation during the application process, your advisor will likely be able to work with those documents to determine course placement and you won't need to take any further steps. If you don't have any of those documents or the scores don't meet minimum thresholds, don鈥檛 worry! Your advisor will direct you to complete our free Knowledge Assessment听to help develop your customized learning path to better prepare you for courses.听
(6) Register for Classes
Once you have completed the steps above, you may register for classes. 黑料视频 students register for courses using the Schedule Builder tool which can be accessed within听. If you are a new, first-time 黑料视频 student, we recommend that you meet with听your advisor听who will help you develop your Academic Completion Plan and help you sign up for courses that are the best fit for you.

(7) Pay Your Tuition
After registering for your courses, your bill can be viewed in your听听account > Student Dashboard- > View/Pay Balance. Payments can also be made in your听听account. Justin Baitz is the Statewide Lead Chair for the Cloud Technologies program. He is also the Assistant Professor and Department Chair at the Lafayette campus. Justin earned his Bachelor鈥檚 in Computer Technology at Purdue University and his Master of Business Administration at Indiana Wesleyan University. He is the Business Owner of 3B Livestock Supply and has worked previously at Franciscan Health and Jasper County Hospital.
Justin is also certified in AWS Academy Educator, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Security+. He has volunteered at the Purdue Alumni Association, Purdue Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching, Indiana 4H, and Purdue University Technology Alumni Board. He also won the Outstanding Young Alumni Award issued by Purdue University Alumni Association in 2016.
Patrick Benner is the Statewide Vice Chair for the Cloud Technologies program. He is also the Assistant Professor at the Indianapolis campus. Patrick earned his Associate鈥檚 in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at 黑料视频, his Bachelor鈥檚 at Purdue University, and his Master鈥檚 in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at IWU National & Global. He has worked previously at Cardinal Office Products.
Patrick is also certified in AWS Academy Cloud Foundations, AWS Academy Accredited Educator, CompTIA Project+, Microsoft, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. He has volunteered at the Indiana Fiddlers Gathering, Downtown Jaz and Blues Festival, and Lafayette Crisis Center. He also received the Lanier RFG Circle of Excellence Certified Dealership and Ricoh Prestige Certified Technician by Ricoh Americas in 2015.
Danette Coughlan is the Assistant Professor and Department Chair at the Evansville campus. Danette earned her Bachelor's in Computer Science at the University of Southern Mississippi and her Master's in Computer Information Systems at Missouri State University. She completed her Graduate coursework in Geographic Information Systems at UC Santa Barbara and Doctoral coursework in Higher Education Leadership at Indiana State University. Danette has previously worked at the Mapping, Charting, and Geodesy Division of the Naval Research Laboratory, UC Santa Barbara, and the University of Evansville.
She is also certified in various CompTIA and Microsoft Professional Certifications. Danette has also volunteered at The Literacy Center and the University of Evansville Suzuki Violin Program. She has been nominated for the President鈥檚 Award for Excellence in Instruction and received Navy Unit Commendation Award, Outstanding Performance Award, Robert H. Cold Award, and Who鈥檚 Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Jason Endris is the Assistant Professor and Department Chair at the Bloomington campus. Jason earned his Master鈥檚 in Information Security at Capella University. He has worked previously at Indiana University and Classroom Technology Services.
Jason is also certified in AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Security+, and CompTIA CASP+. Jason has volunteered at The American Legion and The Bedford Boat Club. Jason was nominated for Outstanding Teacher Award in 2018-19, 2019-20, 2021-22. He is also a graduate of 黑料视频 Leadership Academy.
