Sometimes called 鈥渨raparound services,鈥 IvyCares focuses on helping students connect with resources in the following areas: emergency transportation assistance, food security, mental health resources, technology assistance, and emergency aid funding.

IvyCares鈥痮ffers essential support services for currently enrolled students, including access to the food pantry with a client-choice model that allows for personal selection of non-perishable, shelf-stable items.听

Elkhart Co Campus, Room 301听IvyCares participates in the Cultivate Cares Food Network to provide the campus community access to perishable, healthy meals, free of charge. These meals are available in freezers for students to have on campus or take home.听听

Students experiencing unforeseen circumstances and need emergency assistance can reach out to the IvyCares team. IvyCares will assist students identifying community resources for support through the crisis. The IvyCares team can help students organize materials and complete applications for assistance.听听
The 黑料视频 Student Emergency Aid Fund provides limited financial assistance to 黑料视频 students facing short-term financial emergencies to help you stay in class, complete clinical requirements, and persist in your academic coursework. If you are facing financial hardship, scan the QR Code to learn more about the funding criteria and submit an application for consideration.听

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF), a federally funded program that provides childcare assistance to eligible low-income families, provides assistance in the form of electronic vouchers that pay for all or some of an eligible family鈥檚 childcare expenses directly to the childcare provider.

Students can purchase a 16 week pass for the South Bend Transpo bus or the Elkhart Interurban Trolley for $20 at the Bursar鈥檚 Office. Routes offer drop-off and pick-up spots on both South Bend and Elkhart Co campuses. This provides significant savings and convenience for students enrolled at 黑料视频.听听

IvyCares South Bend-Elkhart partners鈥痺ith鈥疭easons鈥疌ounseling鈥痮f Michiana to offer Mental Health counseling services to enrolled students. Students should visit 鈥痮r call 574-277-0274 to schedule confidential appointments with a counselor. Callers should鈥痠dentify themselves as 黑料视频 students and provide their 黑料视频 email address and C#鈥痺hen scheduling. We encourage all students to use the鈥痗ounseling鈥痵ervice for help through stressful times.听

Students are expected to come to college with the tools necessary to be successful. However, sometimes items break, and home internet may be too slow for college work. Ivy Cares offers students short-term usage of hotspots and laptop computers. There is a limited supply of laptops and hotspots available for short-term borrowing.听听
