  Getting Started

  Your first step to starting at ������Ƶ is simple — just apply! Our application only takes 10-15 minutes to fill out and is completely free. If you’ve never applied to ������Ƶ before or if it’s been two years since you last applied, you can get started by clicking here. This page will guide you through which application to complete and the steps you should follow. Once you’re ready, just click “Apply Now.”

  Timing

  ������Ƶ has five opportunities to start classes throughout the year: January, March, June, August, and October. These start dates have no hard application deadlines, but we recommend applying ahead of time so you can complete the degree planning, financial aid, and registration activities that need to happen before your first day. Your application will take about 7-10 business days to process, after which you will receive an email and acceptance letter in the mail. If you have any questions about the application process, contact your local Admissions Rep or call 888-IVY-LINE (489-5463) for assistance. 

  Online Application
  All ������Ƶ applications are fully online. If you are unable to complete the application or need help with the process, visit your local campus.

  How to Become an ������Ƶ Student

  Your acceptance letter will include instructions on your next steps, as well as other important information like your student ID number, called C-number. We also have a digital New Student Checklist, which guides you through your enrollment steps. 

  1. Meet with an Enrollment Specialist for personalized support through the process
  2. Set up your — this is your student portal where you’ll find your ������Ƶ email, register for classes, pay tuition, and more
  3. Apply for financial aid and file your FAFSA
  4. Complete course placement

• Meeting Your Enrollment Specialist

  As you begin your ������Ƶ journey, we’ll be here to support you every step of the way! After you’re accepted, we recommend scheduling an appointment with your local enrollment specialist. They'll help you learn about the steps that need to be taken to get you fully enrolled at ������Ƶ and ready for your first day of class. The meeting can be in-person, over the phone, or via video conference, and is designed to provide the support you need.

• Navigating Financial Aid & FAFSA

  Don’t let finances get in the way of your dreams! ������Ƶ offers many types of financial aid to our students to help cover costs of tuition, textbooks, and other fees. Getting financial aid can help you pay for college now and finish with little or no debt or a more manageable payment plan.

  Financial Aid Options

  • Scholarships are money awarded to help pay for college that don’t have to be paid back. You may qualify for scholarships based on academic performance, financial need, program of study, hometown, or other factors. 
  • Grants, like scholarships, are funding that doesn’t have to be paid back. These are typically awarded based on financial need, academic achievement, or other factors, and they are funded by federal and state governments, colleges, or other organizations.
  • Federal Work-Study funds special job opportunities that allow you to work while attending college, to help cover educational costs. 
  • Loans come from the government or a private lender to help cover college costs. However, these need to be paid back and usually accumulate interest, so explore other financial aid first and only borrow what you need. 

  Starting with the FAFSA

  The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the starting point for all financial aid opportunities, and you must fill it out every year. You can find more information on FAFSA requirements and deadlines on our financial aid page.

• Registering for Classes

  To register for classes, you must have already been accepted to ������Ƶ and completed the New Student Checklist. We also recommend meeting with an enrollment specialist before registering. Once you’re ready, you can easily explore class options and build your schedule with our Schedule Builder �ٴǴDZ�.��

• Getting Comfortable with MyIvy & IvyLearn

  is your student portal and your shortcut to everything you need as a student. This is where you’ll find your student email, register for classes, find resources, check announcements, and more. The first time you go to MyIvy, just click the “First time here?” button to start the process (see a full walkthrough here).��

  is the virtual classroom tool used in every class you take at ������Ƶ. You’ll find important class information like syllabus, course schedule, and homework assignments here. You can learn more about IvyLearn here.
