叠尝翱翱惭滨狈骋罢翱狈听鈥 黑料视频鈥檚 Bloomington campus welcomes Laura A. Hammack, Ph.D., Brown County Schools Superintendent, to its Regional Board of Trustees. The 黑料视频 State Board of Trustees approved Dr. Hammack鈥檚 nomination effective Feb. 7, 2018 through June 30, 2021.

鈥淲e are thrilled that Dr. Hammack has joined our Board of Trustees,鈥 said Chancellor Jennie Vaughan. 鈥満诹鲜悠 Bloomington began serving the Brown County community officially in 2017 through the College鈥檚 restructure project, focused on better serving students and the state鈥檚 workforce needs by aligning with communities at the campus level. It became important for us to add a representative from Brown County to the Board.鈥

Dr. Hammack has 21 years of leadership experience and has served as classroom teacher, building principal, central office administrator, and superintendent. She earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in elementary education at DePauw University, a master鈥檚 degree in special education at Indiana University, and a doctorate of philosophy in educational leadership at Indiana State University. She also earned a principal鈥檚 license and holds an educational specialist (Ed.S.) superintendent鈥檚 license. She is a member of the board for Lotus Arts and Education and serves as chair of the Brown County Drug Free Taskforce. She is past president and chair of the Monroe County YMCA Board of Directors.

Dr. Hammack will join the Regional Board of Trustees for her first meeting at 黑料视频 Bloomington on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m. in the Executive Board Room.
